Obituary of Pansy Elizabeth Shryer

Pansy “Pat” Elizabeth Shryer, age 86, formerly of Riley and University Park, died April 26, 2014, at Medicalodge of Clay Center in Clay Center, Kansas. She was born on September 6, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Ben and Pansy (Larabee) Pearce. She attended school in the Kansas City area. Pat retired from the Gates Rubber plant in Springs, Missouri in 1972. She then moved to Lakeside Heights in Riley County and onto the Riley Senior Centre in 2001. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Excelsior Springs, MO. She was involved in the V.F.W. in Randoph, F.C.E. of Randolph and volunteered at the Randolph Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Alma Lineback and two brothers, Bennie and Earl Pearce. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place and private burial will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Foundation and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.
