Obituary of Anna V. Larson

Anna V. Larson, age 100, of Prairie Village, Kansas, formerly of Green and Clay Center, Kansas, died Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Brighton Gardens of Prairie Village, Kansas. She was born on March 24, 1913 at Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of George and Antonia (Spacek) Lippert. She was married to J. Harold Larson on February 14, 1938, he preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bruce Larson, in 1959, one brother, Rudolph Lippert, and three sisters, Marie Erickson, Helen Whetstine and Frances Roberts. Anna was a farm wife and had taught in the Winkler Grade School, a one room school, before her marriage in 1938. She was a member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Fancy Creek Zion United Methodist Church northwest of Randolph, Kansas. She is survived by one son, Robert (Bob) Larson of Westwood Hills, Kansas. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Mayday Cemetery northeast of Green, Kansas with Pastor Ryan Lynch officiating. A memorial has been established for the Fancy Creek Zion United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley, Kansas.
