Our deepest sympathies to your family in the loss of Kenny. Our grandmother is a resident at the Leonardville Nursing Home, and we had the pleasure of getting to know him at our weekly visits there. He was so wonderful with our children, telling the boys stories and taking our sweet Ella on "rides" around the halls in his wheelchair. He called her "his girl" and always wore his watch, just so she could play with it. He was so sweet and caring, and we will treasure our memories of him.

I have such fond childhood memories of my Uncle Kenny...
Turning circles in the barber shop chair until I almost got sick, going out on the fishing boat and trying sooooo hard to be quiet and not scare the fish, watching Ken and Donna work their magic on furniture in the basement workshop in the Wakefield house, the list goes on and on!
But if there's one thing that sticks out above the rest, it's that Ken had a total heart of gold behind that rascal sense of humor. He adored his children, grandchildren, and yorkies, but above all he adored his beloved Donna and worked tirelessly to create a home that was safe and full of love as her health continued to decline. How joyous to picture the two of them reunited at last!
Warmly,
Allison Westfahl
