Though I only met John a couple of times, he was a very kind and gentle man. I have known and been his daughter Robin's friend for over 20 years and he did an excellent job with her. The things he did in his life were not always understood by others, but one thing I know for sure is that whatever he did it was with determination and a deep passion. He loved his animals and would have given the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He will truly be missed. Thank you Robin for introducing him to me so many years ago and allowing him to enrich my life as he has many others.
