Obituary of Tami Jo Coleman

Tami Jo Coleman, age 59 of Wakefield, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Wakefield Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on April 29, 1959 in Orange, California, the daughter of Joseph Walter and Donna Jean (Bean) Chapman.  Her family moved back to Kansas in 1964 and she was raised in the Walsburg and Randolph area.

On June 18, 1983 she was married to Chuck Coleman.  He survives of the home. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren along with gardening, singing and animals.  She was active  as one of the Jehovah's Witnesses of Clay Center.

In addition to her husband she is survived by four children, Shannon Kimbrough and husband Tim of Clay Center, Melody Rich and husband Tony of Sioux City, Iowa, Jed Coleman of Clay Center and Orrin Coleman and fiance Timmie Pinnick of Washington; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Donna Chapman; one brother, Joseph Jr. and one sister, Toni.

Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 in the Conference Center at the Clay Center Fairgrounds.

A memorial may be made to the Tami Coleman Memorial Fund and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
