Mrs. Hass and James,
On behalf of the whole Liebe family, we want to let you both know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Klaus was always so warm and friendly, at church or meeting him out and about. His smile and strong hand shake .... along with pinching me on the cheek at the Bank in Riley and letting the rest of the examination team know that I looked just like my Dad... is something I will always remember. I'm sure my Dad was there to hand Klaus a handful of bulletins and help him settle in to his new heavenly greeting and usher duties beyond the pearly gates!
May God's perfect peace sustain you both today and in the days ahead.
George W. Liebe

Klaus was a wonderful man. I always enjoyed talking to him. He was so proud to learn, I had named a German Shepherd puppy, after him. Mr. Hass ever brought Erna out to the house to meet him. I about died laughing, when Mr. Hass introduced the two. Mr. Hass, "I want you to meet Klaus Hass". Mrs. Hass looked at the puppy, then to her husband, back to the puppy and said, "I'm sorry". I was rolling with laughter.
Mr. Hass would be helping at an auction, serving food, when the dog and I would go through the line. Mr. Hass would announce, he knew that dog's name and it was, Klaus Hass. The group of people would look at him, in disbelief and then at me. I would tell them, he was absolutely correct. Mr. Hass and I would have a good laugh.
Mrs. Klaus and James, you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
