Gertrude Phillips was my Oma (grandma) and she was a pretty incrediable lady. If asked to only use 3 words to describe her, I would find that words wouldn't be enough phrases would be required. Oma was the epitome of single minded
focus, love, loyalty and hard work (as you can see she didn't like to fit into boxes and neither do I). She taught me so much and I will miss her everyday.
For me those words were perfect in describing her and she was the perfect Oma. And we who knew her are all a little closer to perfection for having had her in our lives.
I love you Oma. You will be missed.
