Obituary of Clyde McDonald
Clyde Eldon McDonald, age 83 of Leonardville, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Leonardville Nursing Home.
He was born on March 7, 1935 on a farm near Leonardville, the son of Randall Harrison and Mabel Blanche (Dugan) McDonald.
On August 7, 1957 at Storm Lake, Iowa, he was married to Martha Louise Beals. She survives of the home.
He owned and operated McDonald Auto Sales and Salvage in Leonardville for 60 years and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Elton McDonald and Vicki of Wakefield and Tony McDonald and Debbie of Riley; two daughters, Jeanne Richter and Mark of Leonardville and Marlene McDonald of Leonardville; one daughter-in-law, Tracy McDonald of Randolph; four sisters, Alice Chambers of Burlington, Ruby Francis of Blue Mound, Carol Skillet of Madison and Colleen Rodgers of Arkansas; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Bryce McDonald; one brother, Randall McDonald and one sister, Leona Gaultney.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Diller officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Grandview-Mill Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Clyde McDonald Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
