Obituary of Steven Wege

Steven D. Wege, age 64 of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on November 17, 1954 in Manhattan, the son of August Frederick and Daisy Iola (Tilton) Wege.

Steve worked in construction doing many things including painting.  He loved to fish, ride motorcycles and music, where he played guitar in a local band during his younger years.

He is survived by his three siblings, Tim Wege and wife Rhonda of Leonardville, Allen Wege and wife Sarah of Riley and Deena Hazlett of La Junta, Colorado and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Keats United Methodist Church with Pastors Bill Eisele and Kevin Larson officiating.

The Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
