Obituary of Tharon Hilton
Tharon Rodella Hilton, age 82 of Wewoka, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019.
She was born on September 20, 1936 in Ohio, the daughter of Rex Sr. and Kathleen (Adkins) Davis.
On August 25, 1958 at the Keats United Methodist Church, she married Robert Jack Hilton. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Tharon was a daycare provider and in her later years was a greeter at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she was a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, reading, crosswords, watching Jeopardy and playing bingo.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Mooney (Curt) of Wewoka, Oklahoma; two sons, Paul Hilton of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Jeff Hilton (Debbie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one brother, Rex Davis of California; one sister, Wilma Linsey of West Virginia; six grandchildren, Curtis Mooney (Carrie), Tabitha Hilton, Anthony Mooney (Laura), Bobby Hilton, Chris Hilton and Alisha Hilton; seven great grandchildren, Maritha Hilton, McKinzey Hilton, Madisen Hilton, Micheal Mooney, James Mooney, Mason Hilton and Shane Mooney and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Jack Hilton; one grandson, Mitchell Mooney and one sister, Sarah Chaney.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Riley Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Dementia Society of America. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
