Obituary of Adam Poe

Adam Poe, age 44 of Manhattan, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on November 26, 1974 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Ronald Lee and Lynn Karen (Adams) Poe.

On July 31, 1993 in Manhattan, he was married to Karen Lynn Krueger.  They later divorced.

Adam was the batch plant manager for Midwest Concrete Materials in Manhattan.  He worked there for 21 years, starting out as a driver and working his way up to his current position.  He earned outstanding awards throughout his career.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and riding his Harley.

He is survived by his mother, Lynn Poe of Poca, West Virginia; his father, Ronald Poe of Bangkok, Thailand; his special family, John and Jorja Fleener of Manhattan and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tristan Samuel Poe.

Graveside services will be held on September 14, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in the Riley Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating.  The Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
