Our differences drew us apart but you were always in my heart. Our days of watching Gunsmoke together were some of the best. I will always treasure our walks, you all dressed up in winter, in your wheelchair, and us heading out in the snow, with Joey snuggled up on your lap. You made me laugh with your jokes. I will be forever grateful for the time we had together. To Tim and his wife, I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Your kindness of looking after her she spoke of often. I, too, appreciate you. She loved the time you spent watching the Chiefs together.
My heart was saddened of the news I received tonight (Nov. 12th ), of your passing, some of my best memories are of you as my friend. I truly wish we wouldn't have drifted apart but I know someday I will see you again. Knowing the pain you suffered is gone now is a joyous feeling to me.
You were a blessing in my life and a memory I will always treasure. Rest now my friend.
