I was the Activities Director at Via Christi Village. I remember Bernice would not attend many activities unless she was asked. She didn't want to feel like a burden. Once I knew that I made sure she was at EVERY bingo game, happy hour, or craft. I can tell how much she liked and I am glad to have known her. I would tell her all the time that I liked how her natural hair looked but as you probably know she would say she needs something done to it. I am very sorry for your loss as she was a wonderful lady and had the sweetest heart.
