I am so sorry I am out of town during the celebration of Irenes life. She was a wonderful lady and definitely a role model for me. I remember seeing her the first time at Averys picnic. It was so hard for our community when the fort took our homes. It was a special treat when Ernie and irene came to my classroom and shared old machinery but what I remember most was Ernie gave me a picture of the tractor accident my dad had when I was five. Ernie and neighbors saved my dads life that day. God bless your family! Many hugs!
