Obituary of Marilyn Faye Baggerly

Marilyn Faye (Osbourn) Baggerly, age 79 of Overland Park, Kansas, went home to be with The Lord on March 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 30, 1935, in Randolph, Kansas, the daughter of Claude and Eva (Stone) Osbourn. She was raised in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School in 1953. She played softball and basketball, was one heck of a pianist, plus played the violin, french horn, clarinet, trumpet, sang in a trio and also at the Randolph United Methodist Church. Marilyn was a homemaker and loving mother. Later in life, she was a dental insurance adjuster for Travelers Insurance Company. She is survived by two sons, Randy Heath of Olathe, Kansas and Tim Baggerly and wife Sherry of Warner Robins, Georgia, and one sister, Betty Wingerson of Redmond, Washington. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and brother, Donald Osbourn. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Leonardville Cemetery, north of Leonardville. A memorial has been established for the Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. Contributions may be left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home in Riley.
