He attended Westview Community Church and Sedalia Community Church.  George loved to work in his yard, go fishing with his son and hunting, camping, boating and teaching kids to ski.  They enjoyed traveling and spent several winters in Florida.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Kevin Weisner of Manhattan; two daughters, Debra Holle of Manhattan and Christine Miller and husband Mason of Manhattan; seven grandchildren, Dustin Holle and wife Jess and their children (Jordan Holle, Maigan Holle and Shianne Holle), Lance Holle and wife Jennifer and their children (Bailey Holle and Bri Holle), Aaron Holle and wife Tabatha and their children (Connor Holle, Avery Holle, Weston Holle and Audrey Holle), Amanda Brubeck and husband Chris and their children (Liam Brubeck, Meyer Brubec and Sutton Brubeck), Chip Miller, Wendy Allison and husband Tobey and their children (Kirstin Allison, Katelyn Allison and Trevor Allison) and Scott Miller and his child (Jayden Miller); two great great grandchildren, Brooklinn and Weslon and many nieces and nephews.
