I have so many "favorite" memories of this great man. Most of the one's that stick out to me include him loving my grandma with everything he had. I have so many wonderful memories it is so hard to pick a favorite but I choose to remember him being happy, healthy, and dancing or playing guitar. Many times we make the mistake of not cherishing memories to their fullest until their gone. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to have only good memories of love, laughter, and good music. I will forever cherish his stories about his younger days and how he made my grandma light up and shine brighter than anything I've ever seen.

My last memory of Mark was when I saw him at Mellissa's the week before he passed. He was on heavy oxygen and clearly having a hard time. But we found a TV show that was half-way amusing, and Mark did his best to keep up with the plot--even reading the captions. He was doing his best to connect with me while I was there, too. Mark always did his best. He had an amazingly positive attitude and he obviously deeply loved (and loves) Sandy. The two of them were always at each other's side. I often thought how good they were for each other. Few of us get to experience that level of love, and we have good reason to believe that love outlasts our bodies and that we will see Mark again. God bless your family.

To Mark's Family,
We enjoyed getting together with Mark in the 80's when he lived in Clay Center. Many wonderful evenings of fellowship together. Mark lived in our (Tiemeyer) Clifton, Ks home for awhile when he was making some life changes. Mark was a very caring person and I'm sure you all have wonderful memories that you will hold close in your hearts. Sympathy and prayers to all.

Amy and all of Mark’s family ,
It is still difficult to believe Mark has pass.
I have many fond memories of Mark. The Rosell Christmas Eve Family Celebration , when I was a teenager teaching him how to dance , going with Aunt Evelyn to Mark’s baseball games, we always sat in the car to watch . The time Mark played Taps at the Walsburg Cemetery , on Memorial Day . He stood halfway up the hill to the Church in the late afternoon . Most recently seeing Mark at the Rosell Cousins Reunion , he always seemed to have the best time . You will be missed my friend . Until we meet again. Your Cousin Martha
